Bread Dough

We made bread dough today and somebody LOVES the dough. I found Arianne sitting on the counter with her nose in the bowl. I said, "Hey!" (because it's supposed to be rising). She promptly replied, "I'm not going to eat it. I'm just watching it!" Isn't she cute?

Geo Cache

Roger and Velvet have discovered this hidden wonderland of fun called Geo Cache. It's a GPS treasure hunt and is (as our friend Rhino would say) "totally AWESOME!" You plug the latitude and longitude coordinates into your GPS and head off to find hidden treasure. There's a box full of goodies when you find your hidden treasure and the kids loved it! It's kind of addicting, because when you find one treasure box, someone will inevitably say, "Let's go find another one!" Thanks for the fun day Roger and Velvet!

Disney on Ice

Trick or Treating

Costumes

Arianne is a Barbie Musketeer this Halloween. This adorable idea was a little more difficult to put together than you might think. In the end, everything came together and now I have a swashbuckling princess practicing her fencing forms in the house. Baby Roger decided that he wanted to be a chicken this year and luckily his costume is stuffed. Chickens make good targets for musketeer swords. He wanders around the house saying, "bak, bak" and when he wants his costume, asks for his "duck".

Fun With Friends

We had fun today with the Ross family. Adrienne, Matt, and Daniel live directly across the street and we love our neighbors! We got together today for lunch, carved pumpkins, and decorated pumpkin sugar cookies for dessert. Two cans of Pepsi later, we have some great jack-o-lanterns, and the kids wore each other out nicely. Hurray for Halloween! There's so much fun stuff to do!

Little Bit of Randomness

So I was looking for cool places to shoot our family pictures and came across this little gem in my Google search. I've decided that it must be explored at all costs, as soon as possible. It's near Grand Coulee and you have to hike for three miles up Northrup Canyon to get there. Now, I just have to get a day off with no rain and a little sunshine. Isn't it absolutely gorgeous?
